i rewlly love these gems for our classrooms! They are not too big but not too small;perfect size. Our atudents love to sit there and hlue them on paper and make art! I wish we would got more, more often because they love it!

The description omitted the fact these are silver back not acrylic all around.

Neither the photos nor the description reveal that these gemstones have a flat back. This is fine if you want to adhere them to a surface, but if not it makes them pretty shabby gems. I bought them to be treasure in a children's treasure hunt, and they don't work well at all for that purpose.

I looked for one color for hours and i see that all the colors are asigned a shape.

This is a great product for collages! My Kindergarten class loves the shapes and colors of the gemstones. The only con about this product would be the price of it.

These "jewels" are great for crafts. Girls especially love them. They adhere solidly with glue once they dry. The shapes and colors are pretty. I have seen them used in Lakeshore store craft days. The one pound bag is about the size of a plastic sandwich size bag. Not all of my kids' artwork ends up in the keep drawer, so if there is anything that I don't want to keep forever, I just peel these jewels off the paper and soak them in soapy water. The glue comes off and my kids can re-use them for another craft. Why toss these precious gems in the trash?
