My daughters just turned 8 and this was their first sewing experience. The precut holes are easy to find even through the super soft fur. There is plenty of thread in case of errors. The completed the penguin and sloth. It was a great experience and they wish Lakeshore offered the whole collection! My only issue was the directions don’t give specific lengths to cut thread for easier sewing, otherwise HIGHLY recommend

this was a good first beginner project with proper tools. I like how there was a video by scanning the QR code. it was helpful!

Bought this for my granddaughter (age 8) because she enjoys sewing and designing. The needle is blunt enough that she couldn't hurt herself and the holes are pre-cut for the needle to go thru. She really loved doing this project! I personally don't do well with picture-only instructions, but between the 2 of us, we didn't make too many mistakes. My granddaughter loved the activity and the final product. I showed her the pictures of the other Sew Easy animals. She really wanted to do this again, so of course grandmother ordered another one for her!

This adorable penguin was perfect for my 7 year old granddaughter that loves penguins and crafting. She was able to sew it herself with just a little bit of guidance. The plastic needle and precut holes make it super simple for beginners. The fabric is super soft and the flossing details are adorable. Very cute finished product!

This product COULD BE a good way to introduce children to a sewing project, but if you are not an experienced seamstress that can help your child through the assembly and sewing techniques, forget it. The instructions are lacking key information for the steps and types of stitches necessary to finish the craft.

I ordered these and they're so cute! My 8 year old and 13 year old made these and they were very fun to make! I made one too. It comes with enough material and theyre so adorable! Helps with creativity and fine motor skills. Love these so Im ordering more.
