we only wish it could come with more clay

We're thrilled with this kit! Crafting sea animals with the included clay was not only fun but also encouraged creativity. The end result, displayed in the sparkling globe, is absolutely enchanting. A fantastic way to blend arts and play, and the joy it brings to our little one is priceless!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Not enough clay - poorly designed

December 31, 2020 - By Snow Globe Loverfrom PA

7-year-old says: This toy is fun but the figures do not stick in the clay. If the figures had little sticks on the bottom they would be much easier to use. The glitter gets stuck on the clay. There also is not enough clay. The clay is very hard, which makes it harder to shape it. Mom says: The base of each globe must be covered with a thin layer of clay, which takes ~2/3 of a stick of clay. There are only 4 sticks of clay in the kit for 3 snow globes, which doesn't leave enough clay to make the scenes, especially since the plastic figures DO NOT stick to the clay and cannot be used. Love the idea of this set - had been looking for a plastic snow globe for ages, and this is the first one I found. However, the pictures on the box clearly were not created with the materials provided in the kit. It is not really possible to create the colors of clay depicted in the pictures by mixing the clays, and it's definitely not possible to get the mermaid, seahorse or octopus to stick. There is no way a six-year-old could do this independently. The clay is hard enough to require significant hand strength to soften it, and filling the globe with water through the tiny funnel definitely needs to be done by an adult.
