this is my favorite art material for my 3 year olds at preschool to use as well as my soon to be 5 year old son. virtually no clean up is needed and everyones colors will come out differently. so quick to dry as well.

These are easy to use and clean up. They last much longer that those long watercolor sets. The colors are vibrant. Just add water.

Bought these paint cakes for my Pre-K class and they are terrific, The colors are bold and bright. I have the children wear paint smocks and remind them they don't need as much water as watercolor paints. I've even had children as young as 2 use them with no problems. Much easier to clean up than bottled tempra paints and they last for months. Wonderful for teachers.

The idea behind these paints is great and if they didn't stain all clothing and skin they come in contact with they might replace all the other paints in our house. I would advise only very tidy painters use these, if your little painter is on the messy side prepare to have some lasting reminders of these paints.

I bought these paints for my at-the-time-three-year old son, and seven years later, we're still using the last vestiges of the paints. They are wonderful.
