Great for hands on exploration for new builders! My 8yo daughter regularly gets this out to try a new design or shape to see how the gears interact.

Bought 2 of these sets for my 5yo because this was his free play item of choice in kindergarten. He continues to play by himself with these at home. 2 sets is idea for larger structures.

My son loves building and putting things together and this is great to get their gears going too. Easy to assemble

My kiddo filled his star chart and got to pick any toy he wanted. This was the toy. He loves them. He has about every gear set on the market and these get plenty of attention.

One gripe I have with this product is that gears are not that easy to take off once it's on the board. Even I have hard time with it. I wish it was little more kid strength friendly.

The kids love the endless possibilities when it comes to creating new things with the gear builders. Very intertaining!

Small parts so not appropriate for young children, but very challenging for pre-school and early elementary, lots of variety for building.
