Lakeshore Pipe Builders
Overall Rating: 4.8 out of 514out of 14 reviewers would recommend this product to a friend. My boys (age 8 and 4) love these things. They are constantly building with them. They are a favorite in our house. We just added our 4th set to our collection because we never seem to have enough tubes to go around for everyone to build!
Pipe building
I got these for my 4yr old grandson at Easter and he sat and built with them for hours. I think they are a bit small. I would have liked them to be a bit bigger in size. We took his build to a sink and put water down the tubes with a funnel. He enjoyed that. It would be nice if this set had a few valves to divert the water. This set has many possibilities from patterns, sorting, running water, building shapes, letters etc. They were easy to connect and pull apart even though they didn't fall apart. Very sturdy, just make sure pushed together.

Pipe Builders
My 3 year old loves this product. He enjoys all the connecting and building. He is a 3 year that does not put things in his mouth. So I can rest easy as he plays for HOURS.

Great for Math & Fine Motor!
I have 2 buckets of these and they are played with daily in my pre-k classroom! My students have done so many things with them - sorted them by color and shape, put them together in patterns, measured themselves with them, created numbers and shapes and letters with them (on Friday one boy made a 4 while the other made 3 different sizes of 0's) These were all self-directed activities too - I set the buckets on the table and the kids play for 20 minutes and come up with all kinds of ways to use the pipes! Their hands down favorite is to put enough pipes together to be taller than me or my assistant - if they can bump the ceiling with their tower even better! The pipes go together easily, they're well constructed and one bucket is enough for 4 students to play happily for quite a while!

perfect for fine muscles and eye hand coordination
My preschool class play with these alomst everyday. They discovered the pieces fit into the foam boards for pegs so they can build free standing structures. They have also used them to measure objects and other children. I put them away for awhile and they wanted them back out.
