Our family loves these dolls. They hold up well to toddler play!
Great Addition for any classroom
Love that they have inclusive people and a wide variety of abilities and differences. I do wish there were more sets or that they would differentiate between a children set and Nd adult set to provide more variety of disabilities.
Love these
Great quality, durability and details! Love these!
wonderful and inclusive
my preschoolers love this different abilities set more than the others. we have the children of the world and the community helpers sets but this one is talked about and played with the most by far. not only does this set depict people with disabilities but it allows so many conversations through and outside of play.
adorable and fun
So much fun in the block center! The wheel chair even has functioning wheels!!
Great!
These are a great way to add diversity and inclusion items into your classroom!! Definitely a favorite!
Great diversity!
Love the inclusion in these characters! They’re also well crafted
Sturdy toys and appreciate some representation
It is nice to be able to buy a set of toys that represents different kinds of disabilities. My sibling who uses a wheekchair loves that my kids can play with toys that have this diversity represented. and the kids live these toys .
A great start... now keep going!!
I am glad to see that Lakeshore has some materials like these to help represent diverse abilities. I hope Lakeshore continues to grow their representation by adding more figures and including these figures in various sets (so you don't have to buy a seprate set just to represent diverse abilities). It would also be great if there was a mix-and-match option (select your own set of 10 figures to purchase) to help teachers ensure they can represent physical differences (and other diversity) in an affordable way. Other differences that could be represented... limb difference (missing arm, prothetic leg), child wearing a helmet, skin difference (such as Vitiligo), or medical device like a trach.

Figurines with special needs
I bought these figurines, and the detail of them are so amazing. They’re the right size and perfect awareness tools for children.
Great for Teaching Diversity
We bought these for our classrooms and the children love playing with them. It exposes the children to others with special needs who they may not see in their daily lives. It helps to teach the children to be accepting and loving of those who are different.
