I love using these during our community helper unit. I first let the students play with them. Then I put them in a bag and have two students pull one out. They have to then write a sentence about the community helper they picked and what job they do. They are way more engaged in writing because of their enjoyment with this toy. I love toys that can be used for multiple subjects!
