I did not think this product was worth the money I paid for it. The books did not seem to progress or go together and did not cover the best themes.

These non-fiction books were not representative of the items shown in the catalog online. I would not recommend them to anyone. Lakeshore was deceptive by placing a paper sandwiched in between the shrink wrap that told the purchaser that the titles may be changed at Lakeshores discretion. This MUST be stated online-very unfair practice. I was ordering them for a specific student and for the specific titles displayed. I am also still waiting for a call back from the customer service rep that I spoke to. It has been over 2 weeks. Again, not good for business.

Not Quality Books

May 24, 2016 - By LizQuefrom La Verne, CA

These books are very cheaply made, and not worth the money I paid for them. My first graders have little to no interest in the books as they are also outdated. With so many quality nonfiction books these days, don't waste your money on these books.

These books have publishing dates back in the 90's. They are miss-represented in the pictures and are not diverse for inner city students. I would not Recommend them for any age level. The pictures in most books are dull and not engaging.

Nuts for non-fiction!

July 24, 2012 - By Jessfrom Florida

I got these books through a Donors Choose funded project and love them! I use the for guided reading and independent reading. My kids love the beautiful pictures and it is easy for them to put the books back in the correct bin. I will continue to buy the extra book sets so I can have multiple copies of the books.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Great Books but Pricey!

February 12, 2012 - By FloridaTeacherfrom Carson CA

The books are great, but they are expensive. I would like to have a small group set, but not going to pay that much for the books. The books are exactly what I expected. I would like it if the books could be purchased in sets without the bins. I do not see that on the website.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Awesome book choices

August 01, 2010 - By Ctaylorfrom Philadelphia, PA

This library works great in my third grade classroom. My students are excited to pick a book with all of the exciting titles to choose from. The leveled system makes it so easy to keep track of what level books the students are reading. I highly recommend it to anyone!!

Yes, I would recommend this product.
