This is small enough for a homeschool calendar area, but could also work for a classroom. Some calendar sets are huge and were just too big for our small space. I like that this one has paper airplanes, as that really appeals to my son, and the colors are very pleasant and happy. We threw away the Columbus Day calendar piece. Thankfully, there is an Indigenous Peoples' Day piece! There are a ton of holiday cards and several blank cards. I wish there had been a piece added for the year. I just used two blank ones to write the current and upcoming years on with a Sharpie. I especially love the circle month element, as that helps children visualize the continuous cycle of our calendar. I plan on adding degrees to the thermometer piece just to help with learning about what different temperatures feel like. Great item, great value and well-made!
