The quality of the pretend mops and brooms is better than some actual cleaning equipment I've bought! The bristles on the broom are stiff and strongly attached; the mop head is soft but not linty! The kids are loving to 'clean' their room.

Excellent quality and a lot of fun for my kids. They love to do active, imagination play and these are the perfect props.

I am a fan of Lakeshore quality, I have been using their products in my Montessori School for over 10 years and they last! The stand is already in the classroom and is perfect. It was a little smaller than I thought it might be, didn't study the dimensions before, but the size is perfect for the preschoolers and the brooms etc I already had.

The items are all nice quality and can hold up well for many years. The kids use them for a variety of pretend-play scenarios, and for added fun you can take them outside, though I wouldn't recommend storing them permanently out there. I also wouldn't recommend it for classrooms with behavioral difficulties, as they can easily be used as weapons. The stand is only partially useful. Yes, it gives them a place to put them, but it tends to come loose at the bottom and wobble, which makes them all spill out.

Thise item is used daily. The children love pretending to clean the dramactic play area. I recommend getting the stand for the set. I did not, and they are hard to store without the stand. I would have given the item 5 stars, but I have been having some trouble with the wood handle staying on the mop. The wood seems to be stripped. Other than that, I have not had any problems. There are higher quality than some other sets that are offered through other sites.
