In spring we teach the kids about bugs and this is great for them to see all the different bugs there are. I recommend getting this if you have a bug unit to teach.

Our six year old grandson loved the bug collection, but did zero in on a couple of his favorites and seemed to pay little attention to the others. I have a feeling that with time he will enjoy, play with and will learn about the other bugs. This is a gift that I feel will last a long time. Can't be broken! That's a real plus in my book. The odor on first opening the box was very bad, but I was fortunate that I got the set early enough to air both the box and the bugs. I gave our grandson the bugs in a brightly colored laundry bag so he will hopefully keep them together in one place.

I got the box of bugs as a birthday gift. I opened the box they were in, and the plastic smell was incredibly strong. I aired them out as well as I could without opening the bag, but the smell remained The bug collection itself was a huge hit.

We purchased these to use in several of our preschool classes. Wonderful manipulatives for little hands. Colors were a bit disappointing as they were not as bright as pictured.
