I have used these in intervention groups of five or six students and one-on-one tutoring. Currently, I am using with a 7th grade student to help close learning gaps from previous grades. In intervention, I have used these up to 6th grade, and I believe these are useful up to 8th grade, depending on each individual student's or group's needs. (Intervention students are those that are the 25 percentile and below on standardized testing and that have tested with a Reading Specialist or intervention teacher as being two or more grade levels behind.) These are great for on-grade level, advanced learners in lower grades, and for intervention. I love these for intervention. Many of the games can be played with two people, which makes it easy for students to be partners in school or for a tutor and a student to work together, siblings at home, or a parent and a student. These would be wonderful for homeschool as well. Yes, an answer key is included!
