No child can resist a fishing game…and with our game, kids improve sight-word recognition as they play! Each colorful fish is printed with a common sight-word…as children use the magnetic fishing pole to “catch” the fish, they learn to recognize sight-words more easily! You get 75 fish (three each of 25 sight-words), a magnetic fishing pole, a mat and an activity guide. Mat measures 12" x 12 1/2"; rugged plastic fishing pole extends to 18 1/8".

My students love it!

My students love fishing for words! They always ask to play. For my lower learners I put only a few fish out and give them a word to catch. For my higher students I flip the fish over and they have to read what they catch.

Awesome Activity!

I purchased level one last school year for my Kindergarten ELLs. The absolutely love it! They would often ask to play this game. The quickly mastered the level one sight words. Now I have level two, and I'm sure they'll be excited for new challenging words. I'll probably purchase level 3 soon too.
