Perfect for Hands-on Learning
The What's Inside? Soft Feely Box has become a favorite in my elementary school speech therapy sessions. This hands-on, multisensory tool is perfect for engaging students across a range of ages and developmental levels. The soft, sturdy design is inviting and safe, and the included textured objects are great for tactile exploration. I use this set to target a variety of speech and language goals, including descriptive language, vocabulary development, turn-taking, and inferencing. Students love reaching into the box and guessing what's inside using only their sense of touchit sparks excitement and curiosity every time. It’s also an excellent resource for expanding expressive language, as children describe shapes, textures, and functions of the hidden objects. The materials are durable and easy to clean, which is a big plus in a school setting. The activity naturally encourages verbal interaction and is adaptable for both one-on-one and group sessions. Overall, this is a versatile, engaging, and well-made resource that supports language development in a fun and meaningful way. I highly recommend it for SLPs and special educators working with young learners.
love it
My 1 and 2 year old love this box! They play with it soo much and has been such a great toy!
Mystery Box
My 2 year old granddaughter loved this toy so much that I just purchased it for my grandson (14 months old). The objects inside are so relatable to a young child. After pulling out each one, they learn their names and their uses. We try to guess what our hand has discovered inside before pulling the object out to use our senses. What a great toy- both educational and fun?

Great tactile guessing activity
Lots of fun trying to guess the object by feel prior to pulling it out of the box. Great learning tool.
Perfect for vocab development
I purchased this item for my 16 month old grandson for Christmas. He loves to pull out the items one by one and put them back. It is great for building vocabulary with item identification, colors, sounds, etc. He and his mom are now working on identifying objects by feeling. His little face is always so excited every time he pulls out an item! Highly recommend.

Perfect for preschool labeling and matching!
I love my What's Inside box for my special education preschool classroom. The materials are safe (larger) for those who put items in their mouth. It also makes for a great labeling activity that keeps kids attention with the tissue style box. I also love to make matching cards for an easy 3D to 2D matching activity.

One of the best toys ever
Perfect toy. High quality and won’t hurt baby if they are still uneasy on their feet and they fall on the toy (why I hate wooded toys at the moment). Please make more toys like this. The box comes with little toys inside and one toy I believe was too small for my baby so I removed it. Always make sure you inspect toys before you give them to your baby so you can remove pieces that are not appropriate for your little one

Our 10-month-old loves this toy! Gifted this to a few others as well. Definitely our favorite Lakeshore Learning purchase so far. There is a Ms. Rachel episode that uses this toy so it was fun to get more ideas on how to use this with our baby to optimize play and learning.
great
my grandsons love this and play along with Ms. Rachel on tv with it

Baby loves it
I bought this for my 8 month old grandchild. Although she hasn't mastered reaching in to get the toys yet, she loves the toys themselves! I think what most appeals to her are their size. Of course they are perfectly safe and in no way choking hazards, but they do seem smaller than many of her other toys. With two big sisters forever taking little toys away, it's really nice for her to have her own safely made, smaller-sized, variety of toys. She seems to like them almost as much as a TV remote! Lol! High praise I tell you! Her older sisters also love to stuff toys in and have each other guess What's Inside!
