This set is PERFECT for the 0-5 age group and would lend itself in a number of educational and fun ways. The Pre-K and kindergarteners love to play Kitchen. The babies are learning to identify their little worlds with this durable set. We love the size and how sturdy they are, AND that they are dishwasher safe, which really matters in a public space.

When I saw my granddaughter pretend to feed her plush monkey some of her lunch, I got this food basket for her. The food basket is well made and the food is a good size, almost like real food in some cases. She can pretend cook with her mom in the kitchen too.

These are high quality, thick plastic. There's a small hole, so if you use with water play, it will suck up water. The basket looks wicker, but it's plastic.
