So fun for my son!

October 23, 2024 - By Adriana Reyes

I got this for my son who is in Kinder and needed a little extra help on writings his letters. This is fun and easy to use for my son. He enjoys it rather than the basic paper and pencil for practicing tracing. He even chooses this over the weekends over a tracing game on his tablet. I love the light up feature! He likes to sit under the table and trace and color away in 'his cave'. This is also great for car trips as he is able to see in the dark but the light wont disturb the driver! Love this item! My son will be pro in tracing very soon! I would love to see more transparent sheets to add such as numbers and sight words for add on purchase!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Free choice favorite

December 07, 2023 - By Christinefrom Rosemount, MN

This is a fought over favorite for my students at free choice time. A great way to incorporate fine motor skills with art. While I like it - I don't think it was worth the cost personally. Especially when you have to add batteries yourself

Yes, I would recommend this product.

No clips

February 08, 2019 - By Kbdogsfrom Bothell, WA

Loved the idea of this but there is nothing to hold the alphabet cards or tracing papers in place. So, the alphabet cards and tracing paper moved whenever my child attempted to trace the letters. This made the task of tracing letters impossible for my 5 year old. I would have returned but we tossed the packaging before we realized it was a dud.

Great way to learn how to hold a pencil correctly!

December 10, 2018 - By Myra Cruzfrom Hawthorne , CA

Our son is 3.5 and hes been having trouble learning how to use the pencil correctly. This is perfect for him. He has been tracing the letters and loves that he can trace the drawings as well! I love how we can store the pencil and paper inside!

Needs cursive letter forms!!!

April 04, 2018 - By Nonni1947from Williston, VT

There are at least 6 million dyslexics in U.S. elementary schools & cursive writing is key to successful remediation. Despite current trends, cursive handwriting is also faster & lets kids read materials (historical docs, parent writing, etc.)It is the forgotten key to literacy,,,lots of reasons and publications stress the need for cursive instruction. So while the Alpha light-up center works short term to get toddlers started, it is too bad that you also don't have cursive letter overlays. If you did, I'll bet the Internta'l Dyslexia Assoc. would plug your product worldwide. You would make a fortune! So, I have to make my own.

Yes, I would recommend this product.
