and building. he really enjoys these so much!!! I am a homeschool mama, and I do things a little backwards. I've been hammering down lower case letters, no pun intended. so he needed more help woth uppercase. these captivated his interest for a good 30 mins! I love that I can buy another foam replacement. since it's not in a classroom setting, hopefully I dont have to replace too often

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Love it!

January 30, 2022 - By lauren medicanfrom Nashville, TN

My son loves anything involving hammers, so this was an easy sell. The fact that he has to follow instructions and think about the construction of the letter in order to build it is an excellent, compounding process for him. It really breaks down the structure of each letter for him.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Great for Strong Busy/Hyperactive Children

November 05, 2020 - By DeAnn Jonesfrom Stanwood, WA

I can see how this would be great for older preschoolers or strong, hyperactive boys who are less interested in other alphabet activities. This might speak to them. My 3-year-old girls are not able to get the pegs to hammer in. One disappointment is the pegs that look like golf teas are wider and poke quite a wide hole in the board, and this is why they sell a refill for it, because over time it will wear out rather quickly with all the wide holes in it. I imagine the wideness of the golf teas is so children don't poke other children with them. I wish the brown letter parts were sold separately. Montessori programs could use them with real nails and hammers, and I would use them with golf teas and the styrofoam that comes in packages. I do like the orange hammer. It is not cheap plastic and it feels somewhat heavy, more so than other toy hammers you see. Overall, however, I like the product. I will wait a year to re-introduce it when my 3-year-olds have turned 4. I just hope it lasts a little while. I've only had it a few days.

Yes, I would recommend this product.
