Left a lot to be desired

October 27, 2021 - By liz jfrom Oak Lawn, IL

I was excited to receive my large order from Lakeshore, however, most of my order was a little off or will require me to adapt the materials (will remake my own sorting boards) to use for my preschool and kdg students with language disorders who are just learning these concepts. I like the sequencing kit. The descriptive words are not perfect opposites - hot and cold are the only opposites. Others include round, dirty, fast shiny etc. This is not useful to teach new concepts. I also don't consider airport a category and found that odd.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

My students who are in pre-k and display characteristics of Autism absolutely love these. I have a different box for each classroom (because I'm trying to limit sharing of materials), and its a hit from my 3-5 year olds. In fact, even the students who are non-verbal will point to them or request them on a communication board.

Yes, I would recommend this product.
