As a reading interventions teacher I use this language set to reinforce and review what has been taught in the classroom. I will display a set, as a group we complete the set, and then I divide out the cards to my group at the table and create a game (usually a matching game or draw a card game) to play with them. They love it! Everyday I come in they ask if they can play the game. It has really helped with their letter identification, sounds, rhyming, and making words with kindergarten and parts of speech and comprehension with the first graders. My only wish for this set is to put a better, thicker coating on the cards so they do not start coming apart at the edges. Otherwise, it is a wonderful, easy to use, creative, hands-on, easy to plan and go set.
