Cards are made to last. I love that they are thought provoking and create group discussion.
Well made and durable. Would buy them again. Highly recommended. I like that they come in a box for storage.

Very Dated disappointing photos
I was really excited to get these cards to work with my students to expand their language skills. I am very disappointed in how dated the images are and my students don't seem to like it either. For the price and the product being from lakeshore I had expected more.

A picture is worth a thousand words
These cards allow the children to focus on the images and think about what's going on. My 4-year old cousin gave very good descriptions of what she saw. When she went over the cards again, she was able to give more details of what she saw in the pictures.

Kids ask for it!!
Great learning tool, just tell them to put their thinking helmets on and go from there!!!

Nice but very dated photos of people
Great conversation starters for kids. Cards are large and bright and the flip-top tin box is perfect for storage. More than half the photos of people are very dated (clothing, hair styles, boxy computers, a giant camcorder), and a few are slightly blurry and dull. If this set was updated with new images, it would easily be a 5-star product.

Multi purpose
I like the mix of people and animals. Easy to see enlarged pictures so students can describe, guess their thoughts and what they might say, predict, etc.

Good pictures
A tin of photos the animal ones are better than the people photos which look old but there is some dinner diversity.

Perfect to address multiple language goals
These cards are great for targeting language goals with a wide range of ages (naming, identifying, verb usage, pronouns, grammatically correct sentence production, wh questions, creating short stories, etc)

Great for expressive language!
Wonderful product for turn-taking in conversations, formulating grammatically complete sentences, describing, using adjectives, and making inference.
