I have both this set, and the first set with beginning, middle, and ending sounds. I love using them in literacy centers and this set has been key for me to track along with my students as they work on new phonics skills. I do find that they can be extremely messy with the residual ink on the stamps as they stack on top of one another.

My students enjoyed using the stamps, but their hands, tables, papers, and clothing had ink all over them. It was washable ink, but it was still a mess. I wish there were a better storage solution for the stamps.

We are all about hands on and having fun while homeschooling. These stamps are fun for littles and independent work. These have been used a lot since we bought them. I highly recommend.

My 8-year old granddaughter can read anything you put in front of her, but spelling is another issue. I got this for her, plus a couple of the washable ink pads, and she went to town! Loves stamping (what kid doesn’t?) and colors in the pictures when she’s done. Once she’s mastered these words, she’s going to donate it to her teacher. I bet she ends up helping the other kids in her class! The storage box is very sturdy, and includes 74 stamps. My only recommendation would be to make sure your child works at a desk or on a hard surface, otherwise the pictures and letters will have gaps in them.

These are amazing! I stamp a bunch of them on paper and my son can clearly see the picture and write in the missing letter(s).

These are thick and nice quality stampers. They will last a long time. I used them with a washable color stamp pad. I cleaned the stampers with warm soapy water right after use to keep them from staining. I also used them for spelling by asking my kids to spell the word just by looking at the top of the stamper. After their intended use, I still had a large set of picture stampers so it was definitely worth the price.
