my 7 year old asks to play this often. it is goos practice for him and he enjoys the tactile sensation of the beads. i could see it being messy and chaotic in a classroom though.

What a mess!

In concept this item seemed like it would be fun and engaging but in reality, the students find it difficult to use the pinchers and the beads make a huge mess that is nearly impossible to clean up. There are better options that this at lakeshore
