A quick, easy way to introduce two-syllable words—our super-fun pool-themed game is sure to make a “splash”! Students just draw an inner-tube card, read the word aloud and keep the card if they read it correctly…or start again if they draw a “Splash!” The first player to collect 10 cards wins! my 7 year old enjoys this and my 5 year old loves getting splash but it can be hard to search around in the box for words.

One of my most requested games!

Splash is a wonderful game for word recognition. I am a 2nd grade teacher and I have a tutoring company. I like to use this game with children that are transitioning for one syllable to two syllable words. It is a great resource and the children love it! Especially when I pick up a SPLASH card. I just purchased SPLASH CVC and wish I could get every version.
