Word Family Practice Cards
Overall Rating: 4.9 out of 58out of 8 reviewers would recommend this product to a friend.Excellent Resource
I have had these for years and use these often with small groups. They're excellent for kindergarten. There's a lot of variety with phonics skills from short vowels, long vowels, digraphs, and irregular spellings like -all. These are a tried and true resource!
Perfect for small groups
I use these for small groups. Kids can write real or non sense words, they practice their letter formation, rhyming, and decoding words they write. It's excellent for the kindergarten and first grade classroom.

I am so excited about using these in my 1st grade classroom as a phonics center. My colleague had these in her classroom last school year and the students enjoyed using these plus it helped with their reading and writing fluency. I am looking forward to many success stories during the next school year.

My grandson loves these cards
Excellent Skills Practice!
With a Sharpie, I wrote letters, blends, and diagraphs at the top of the cards. This helped students who needed visuals. I also placed each card in a clear, plastic sleeve for extra safe-keeping. Students really enjoyed using these cards at centers.

great for centers
I really recommend this set for a first grade class. It provides lots of word family practice, is inexpensive, doesn't take up room, and the kids can do it without supervision. It has been a standard in my phonics center.

Great for Literacy Center
I kept this set in my language center and it was a hit. My first graders used it often and it's in great shape, after heavy use all year. It's an inexpensive learning kit, easy to set-up/clean-up, and offers early learners a great way to practice letter formation and word families.
