I use these journals to differentiate for my different reading groups. My first graders enjoy the stories and I have definitely seen growth in their comprehension.

Good book for comprehension skills.

Awesome workbook. My son has a hard time reading at his level and remembering what is being told in a story. This journal has been a great tool and we read a story everyday and do the few questions is has associated with the story. He’s really getting it now!

I use these with my tutoring students. The students like how the task are broken down for each day, they are not overwhelmed with having everything in one day.

Although the concept is good, my children just weren’t that interested in it. It might have something to do with its structure being to reminiscent of a basic skills test set up.

Love these books, especially over summer time to continue learning.
