These various books is exactly what my granddaughters needed to excel in their classroom and continue to be confident in their reading.

Great set of books for my 5 year old!

All of these Nonfiction and Fiction sets are incredible. We have Fiction levels 1 and 2, and Nonfiction Emergent (basically level 1) and level 2. There is not a lot of difference from level 1 to 2, Level 2 is just slightly longer and more of a sequence of events with less repetition. My son does enjoy reading some beginner books but needs to be prompted on many words. These are great because they're almost all words he knows, so he can read whole sentences fluidly. They are only 8 pages with 1-2 sentences per page, so the entire set can be read in an hour. Photos are very relevant and good. Fiction books are also worth getting.

I purchased these books for my 2 1/2 yo. He can read well over 50 sightwords and I figured he would enjoy these books. I like the real world images. Some of the topics are appropriate for him, such as water or shapes, while other topics are not, but I also realize my child is a very early reader.the books are a bit short. I have a set of 12 sightword books from another company that we prefer, but these are a great addition to our collection.

I started my four year old on the level one fiction sight word books so this is our fourth set. The non fiction books are a little harder than the fiction books but we love the science concepts and beautiful pictures. The book about national monuments was also a favorite. Combined with learning word families and sounding out words I think my daughter will excel in reading. Highly recommend for kinder classrooms or parents to use at home
