Fun addition game

I am a resource teacher and I bought this to work with my students on addition. It's great for teaching counting and basic math skills. It may be a little tricky for the younger ones to learn how to flip the tiles at first, but with practice they become more proficient.

Daughter confused

My daughter is three years old and she understands the subtraction board but then gets confused with the addition board because of the adding of two separate sections. Hopefully that is just something she well master overtime. I'm not sure how the addition board could have been done differently Maybe with just one section?
