Works Well for Practicing Place Values

February 28, 2024 - By Sandra Snokefrom Hawthorn Woods, IL

I tutor my great-granddaughter, who lives in another city. We work together online. While there are plenty of good worksheets available online for practicing place values, I wanted something colorful to use when we first started these lessons to help with the differentiation between ones, tens, and hundreds. I bought a package and used it to create problems for her to solve. I created a value, snapped a picture, and then created worksheets consisting of a picture and a place next to it to write the number represented. I think having the color differentiation helped her to quickly become very fluent in calculating the number represented.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Cardboard - not plastic. For young children, difficult to handle.

Perfect for price

June 25, 2020 - By Allisonfrom Ohio

These manipulatives were the perfect purchase for at-home exploration and practice for my two children. Also being a classroom teacher, I would be hesitant to use these in the classroom setting, just based on the material used to make these manipulatives. I would still use the plastic version for heavier use. Overall, highly recommend for at-home use!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Perfect timing

May 13, 2020 - By Candida De La Cruzfrom Staten Island, NY

I'm glad I bought this. Now that my son is at home doing remote learning here in New York. This came in handy his teacher had assigned this. He knew about the ones and tens, but not the 100's and this was perfect for him to understand, and for me to teach him. And also even though we're going through this pandemic you guys were quick to ship in the items. Thank you! Stay safe!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Flat and cardboard

October 03, 2018 - By TCfrom CA

I ordered these online and although I did not think they were actual cubes, I thought they were made out of a thick foam or something like that. They are flat and cardboard, and very small. Not exactly what I expected.

Yes, I would recommend this product.
