Love these that the base 10 magnetic blocks are different colors for thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones! Kids use them at centers time and I use them during whole class lessons!
Great but.
When initially purchasing I don’t usually think that the picture encompasses exactly the amount of place value blocks I was ordering. I think that for the price of 60 dollars and knowing that many educators spend their own money on supplies, this set should of included more blocks. I was shocked when I opened the packaging. On a side note, the blocks are great to use when modeling and stick to the whiteboard well.

The size is great and the magnetic part is good but why only give us 10 tens. My 2nd lesson in second grade I cant teach with just one set and to spent over $120 on two sets is crazy just for more tens. Please consider the curricular goals when putting products together.

Love this product!
These are so fun! Kiddos love to use these blocks to model problems. The size, color differences, and magnet strength are excellent! They are a bit pricey. Without a grant, these may not have been purchased, but we are so glad to have them!
Perfect for visuals, motivation, learning
I love my Giant Magnetic Place Value Blocks. They stay on my magnetic math board during our base 10 unit up to 1000. The kids are excited to come up and create numbers for the rest of the students to read, write and create with their manipulatives. Thank you for all the great products that I continue to collect for over 33 years now. I remember when you had the Great Idea Contest and I won for submitting the chair pocket idea. These are great for a teacher demonstration set. They are easy to pull off of the board and the colors are bright for the students to see.

Good quality, bright colors
These are a perfect size for displaying number models on the white board. The magnets hold well (no gradual slide) and the children love putting them up.

Visually appealing
These are great. I love that they are magnetic. I love that they are big. I love that I can model for my students or my students can model for each other and the whole class can see from their vantage point. One thing I wish ... that there were more tens. There simply aren't enough tens for adding larger 3-digit numbers. Don't want to buy a whole other set just for more tens.

Nice
Nice to have magnetic place value blocks that are easy to handle. It would be nice if the information told how many ten rods. I was disappointed that there were not more ten rods. Overall - happy with the product.

Should have purchased two or more!
This is an excellent tool for PV practice. I especially like it for helping 2nd graders grasp the concept of making trades, which is why one or two more sets would have been terrific!

Needs more 10's and 100's
This kit is great for kids to see from all over the classroom. It is also easy for kids to assist with manipulation. However, there are not enough 10's and 100's to teach subtraction regrouping. I would recommend getting 2 sets if you teach 2nd or 3rd grade; which makes it too pricey. I would prefer the set not have a thousand block and have the increased 10's and 100's.

3-d place value blocks.
At first, I didn't want to spend the high price for these blocks. When I started to use them in class, I realized how much better they were than the flat magnets I had before. The children can move them around a lot easier, and can see them a lot better as well. Didn't need the thousands block since I teach first grade -- so it would have been nice to leave it out of the kit and charged less.
