My kids loved playing and interacting with these! They were large and easier to memorize the different features of the coins then regular money.

what I really like about these magnetic coin manipulatives is that I can use them while I am teaching a whole group. My kids can get up and move them around and it helps them make that connection when I am teaching them how much they cost, what they look like, and counting them when they are mixed up. In addition, I like to use these as a center so that my students can review them and become masters at counting coins. They stick very well and I have had them for many years.

I was planning on using the coins to help teach money on the board. For the cost of $9.99 plus $5 shipping since the stores werent open yet, I was surprised when I saw how small they were! They should cost around $5-6. In the classroom setting, Im afraid my students will not be able to see them on the whiteboard. Even in a small group setting, not sure. I wish they were a little bigger in size. I was thinking of using them if we continue to teach distance learning in the Fall, but still too small to use.
