I'm an online preschool tutor. These shapes were colorful and seemed sturdy but they were much too small for the intended use. I thought they were relatively sizable when viewing the shapes as pictured on the magnetic board, online. The board had to be much smaller than mine, because the shape size would have made it difficult for my students to distinguish the differences. Only the dimensions for the largest shape were listed and I ASSUMED the other shapes would be similarly designed. I was mistaken about that, as well as my assumption about the display board dimensions as it compared to the shape size. However, AS ALWAYS, Lakeshore stood behind its product and allowed me to return it, hassle-free. If I begin in-person teaching again, I will DEFINITELY repurchase this item.

These were a little flimsier than I expected. These are like magnets you would take home from the doctor to have their number on your fridge. That said we still love them and I love seeing what the kids make on their magnet boards.
