Great visual for students
June 30, 2025 - By Molly
I really like the magnetic place value blocks. I use them in my first grade classroom often during whole group instruction. They are a great visual to have on the board for students to refer to as they develop the language and skill foundation connected to learning about place value. I use these every year!
Yes, I would recommend this product.

Great way to track days of schools and changing ones to tens and tens to hundreds, however I do with the ones were yellow like all of the other lakeshore place value items- that way it can help my students differentiate between the 3

One of my favorites!
October 11, 2022 - By JESSICA RODRIGUEZfrom Pasadena, TX
This product is one of my favorites!
I love that it’s magnetic, so the cubes don’t fall all over the floor during station time. My favorite feature is that the pieces are not flat; they’re 3D so they’re easier to pick off of the easel. No more trying to dig your nails under the magnetic piece to pop it off of the magnetic surface.
Lastly, they’re great for multiple grade levels.
Yes, I would recommend this product.

Needs More!
April 22, 2021 - By TX Math Instructorfrom San Marcos, Texas
This is a great item, but it only has 1 blue block for representing 100. Thee are more than 10 green ten rods and more than 10 orange ones cubes, but it needs more blue blocks so we can get larger numbers. Trying to teach hundreds with only 1 block of 100 is not easy! I'm currently trying to find more that do NOT come with the frame.
Yes, I would recommend this product.

Great Teaching Tool
November 01, 2017 - By Allymacfrom Hendersonville, NC
I have been using this for a week. It is a great tool to teach place value! That being said, I just wish it were bigger. I think it would be best while using it during instruction. I still recommend it though.
Yes, I would recommend this product.
