Introduce the solar system with our hands-on discovery board! The visually appealing hardwood board features a well for each planet, starting with the closest to the sun and moving outward. Kids just place the 8 foam planets in the wells on the orbit lines—and then check their work by comparing the names on the planets to the preprinted labels on the board. The 2-piece board measures 24" long when assembled.

Solar Space Learning Tool

This is a wonderful educational tool for my 11 year old. This puzzle is so simple, yet it sparked her curiosity and fascination with our solar system. This is a hands on item that got hear easily memorizing the names of the planets. It sparked her interest in learning more about each planet. The puzzle makes it easy to see which four planets are closer to the sun, made of mostly rock, and the four planets farthest from the sun, made of mostly gas. I would definitely recommend for any child.

Fun and Instructional!

My 3 year old great niece was fascinated by this, right out of the box. The color coding of the cut-outs each planet fits in helped her to quickly learn the correct order. The planets themselves are fun to play with, apart from the board. Durable, colorful, good value. 5 STAR.

Perfect for hands on learning

We purchased this to use during our space theme month. The children enjoyed learning about each planet. It was nice to have the sensory option of being able to touch the balls. The children also enjoyed being able to place them in order back on the board. Lots of hands on fun!

My 3 year old son is obsessed with these planets and he loves to line them up in the correct order, the puzzle board allows him to do this with no problem! It's well made and I love that the planets are foam and sturdy not easily ripped. The colors and the details are fantastic. So happy with this product after searching for so long I couldnt be happier with my purchase well worth it!

Hands-on Learning!

This Solar System Discovery Board is perfect for my curious Pre-K students...they are able to understand the Earth and other planets through such an awesome visual interactive board, which makes learning engaging and super fun! My students loved comparing the sizes of each planet to the sun and discussing the colors of each planet. Highly recommend!
