Nice Globe
Nice globe to have in an early childhood classroom. I let my students explore the globe along with Lakeshore's Kids Around The World Block People and Animals From Around The World. I usually have no issues with Lakeshore's pricing as they make quality products but this one fell a little short of excellent. The seam in the middle wasn't great and the snap stand design isn't the best.

Great starter globe
Globe is as described. I gave it to my six-year-old grandson and he was very interested in the pictures. I think we'll have a lot of fun "exploring" with the help of the globe. It has stood up to quite a bit of twirling already.

Awesome Landmark Visuals!
I LOVE THIS GLOBE!!!! My older three year old class can find the countries we've studied and point them out to their parents when they come to our room. We have studied France, India, China and the USA since we have a very multicultural class. We have taken the beautiful landmark pictures on the globe and created them in 3-D forms out of cardboard boxes. This integration of different learning activities has allowed very young children to enjoy geography with this globe. They show each other the places they know on a daily basis. We also look at where they are going when on vacation or where their parents are going for work!!!
