My 5 year old is droid/robot obsessed and loves making his own designs. He has fallen in love with this build your own set! If you have more than one bot, you can mix and match the parts and make your own creations. The instructions are very clear and it provides tips on ways to experiment.
Great for young builders
Our 6 year old grandson loves building projects. He especially enjoyed this product since the finished items could do such fun movements. It was a big hit.
Fun to Build
2 of the 3 robots work in a way that makes them fun to play with. Pogo is no fun at all. It didn't function as intended so my child made it his own to play with.
Super cute and entertaining
My 6 year old saw these in the magazine and requested them. I thought they were just robots that you assemble. I didn't realize that they jump and run around! They have been so entertaining for the whole family. One even picks itself back up when knocked over. These are just adorable and can be enjoyed by many ages.
My 7 yr old grandson loved his present
Wow, robot building is awesome!
My 7 year old grandson loved these and has laughed his little behind off at the antics! They were easy for him to assemble and very, very sturdy! Great product! I definitely will be purchasing other items from Lakeshore. He's pretty rough on his toys, and I appreciate something that doesn't break in a couple of days! Worth the money!

Love these robots in every style!!
Absolutely LOVE these robots. Simple to put together and students squeal with laughter when playing with these. They hold together well and can be quite fast. I used them in my Pre-K (3-5 year olds) classroom. It they are suitable for older children as well. Would definitely buy again.

Fun Robot Set!
These were a huge hit with my kids, 6 and 8. There's not much that can stop HalfPipe or Scootz and we couldn't stop laughing at their antics! Super energetic and it's fun to change the arms or legs around to get different results. I would definitely buy these again, even as gifts.

Second time buying and don't regret it
We had bought the skating robot of this set before when my son was little too young to put together himself we were going on a family trip and bought the complete set of three for our two kids to enjoy they are so easy to pack in their tiny little boxes and we knew they would have so much fun with them once we put them together. These guys are easy to put together it takes just a couple minutes and each one of them is incredibly amusing to watch and play my oldest was five and a half put them together with his uncle and entertained his younger cousin and sister both to and even their baby cousin who just turned one loved watching these guys go. At the price point we don't worry too much about them getting lost or damaged on a trip as they are so much fun and such good practice at following instructions and putting things together that I will probably buy them all again in the future

My 8-year-old nephew loved putting these together and playing with them. I like that the directions give some ideas of how to modify each one to see what will happen. The only challenge we had was that it was difficult, even for an adult, to get the broom and umbrella in and out of Scootz's (the skateboard robot) hands. I was afraid the hands of it would snap off when we tried to pull the pieces out to adjust them, so that one will probably not get adjusted much.
