Just Right

December 11, 2024 - By Robin McCarthyfrom Canton, CT

I like that you have to set the runs up just right to get them to work. Makes my children understand that engineering takes a lot of tries.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Persistence!

November 12, 2024 - By sharon kauffmanfrom Kansas

I introduced this kit in the classroom by setting the easy levels up with a couple students at a time. We did the hard level 6 run as a large group, and then I let them go. While I've had a few that continue to use the cards, they've also enjoyed setting up their own runs. My 5 year-olds are trying to use all the pieces and are very persistent in trying to get things to work the way they want. The younger 4 year-olds are more interested in seeing how fast or far they can get the balls to roll. The first graders have also enjoyed using it and have been asking for more pieces to make elaborate runs!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Worth it

September 19, 2023 - By amy wattfrom Lake Worth, FL

I teach second grade and my students loved setting these up. The cards are fairly easy to follow and the plastic is sturdy and colorful. Perfect for a center, and doesn't need too much explanation. Great for team building:)

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Too difficult and not great for the price.

February 18, 2023 - By Amy Vendelfrom Chicago Ridge, IL

I got this for my 4 year old who loves marble runs and building. This was too difficult for his age. Everything has to be lined up exactly. The pieces would just fall down too easy and just not good for a 4 year old.

Fun and interesting, but maybe for under 6

January 02, 2023 - By Kristen C.from CA

This was a fun kit and definitely well made. Everything was easy to understand and setup, however, I found it was not very challenging for my 7 year old. He was able to independently complete just about all the challenges without much trial and error. Definitely consider your child's abilities and maybe go up to the older kit if your kid is like mine.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Fun and challenging

November 10, 2022 - By A. Johnsonfrom houston

I could easily see this set be a good introduction for children starting at the age of four, but still continue to be a challenge for children even in higher grades. It is fun over all. The quality is as expected

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Fun way to learn

April 05, 2021 - By Debbiefrom Arkansas

Our 7 year old had a great time, and was able do all of the plan needing help only for the highest level. Our almost 4 was completely lost but had fun once big brother completed it so pre K might be young yet. Over all this was a hit. Great way to bring up some physics.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Ball broke in half the first week also difficult

September 24, 2020 - By Christina Bissellfrom Lomita, CA

My son is 4 1/2 and likes the idea of this, but the concepts are too difficult fir his age. He likes to watch the ball and halo set it up but I do most of it. Wouldn't be appropriate for a preschool, pre k class. Maybe some kindergarteners could do it. The biggest complaint is that the quality isnt good for this price. The lightweight ball broke in half the first week we had it. I couldnt imagine this lasting in a classroom.
