Awesome to Correlate Reading with STEAM

I love using these STEAM Kits to correlate my reading lessons with a STEAM project for Science and Social Studies. The cars STEAM kit is used with our engineering unit in science. The planes are used Women's History Month along with science and social studies when we study about Amelia Earhart. The boat is our Mayflower as we learn about Thanksgiving, pilgrims, and Native Americans. Connecting these help keep my students involved in the lessons while working on skills.
