Different ages used this in different ways. The 3 year olds used it more freely while the 5 year olds were focused on details and building things exact. Older children also realized small builds use less planks. Great for use at a table.

Bought this product for a 4 year old. He likes to build things with shapes. This product is perfect for building different shapes. It comes with cards with real images and creating those images with the planks is an interesting way to create stuff and it gives a view to real life things. Overall a great product!

My Pre-K students love this activity! I love that it allows for creativity, helps fine motor skills, encourages teamwork and perseverance, etc. There are more than enough of the well-sanded, wood planks. Play-based learning for the win!!

My students absolutely love these! They are so helpful for building vocabulary and is very easy to differentiate. The kids can write the first sound of the word, write the whole word or write a sentence with the word, then build with the planks. I even use this center in math where they build the picture and then have to count and write how many planks they used. I just love it!
