I love these magnetic folders. It allows me to display my daily lesson plans in a visible place. So if there is a substitute- the work is right there ready to go. They are strong and durable.

I've been using these for several years. Even in the dry desert climate of Phoenix, these hold up beautifully. I was concerned the clear plastic pocket portion might dry out, but it continues to be soft and flexible after years of use. I use them to organize work by grade level (I teach several small groups in K-3rd gr). I also tuck work in these for absent students to retrieve upon their return. I stuff papers I want to make photocopies of, things I need to take to the office, envelopes needing to be sent home, and so much more. These expand generously and the full-magnetic backing holds a surprising amount of weight. I became so dependent on them at school that I purchased some for home, as well. For a while, they were solid colors, then they had polka-dots, so I have some of each. They brighten my classroom and keep me and students organized. Love this quality-made Lakeshore product!

These magnetic holders are super strong they don't move even with a whole stack of papers in them when the students come and get their paper. I would recommend these to any classroom where you have students picking up stuff as they come in the room.
