It is a functional portable timer. It would be great if the buttons can be bigger that could be more convenient for Children's little hands.

These are cute and lightweight, and relatively easy for kids to control. However, they're essentially useless since you can barely hear the alarm when it goes off. The speaker is on the back of the time, so when the timer is laying on a table, the alarm is barely audible.

I used these for 10 years as an RSP teacher. I am using them now as a program assistant to a blind school psychologist when I help her test students. You can use them to time how long a child took to do a task. You can use them to count down the minutes to a certain event, such as recess or end of a work period. The batteries last a long time! You could use them as timers in your kitchen. They are very versatile and you will love them!

I love these new timers. My second grade students can stop and restart them independently. Excellent for partner paired fluency drills.

Of the 6 timers, 2 arrived in NOT WORKING condition. So of the 6 I needed for class, I only have 4. However, I do want to say that Customer Service said they would replace the 2 timers that were not working. Waiting for their arrival.

I bought the Children's digital timers in order to help my students track their reading fluency growth. Each pair of students love to get the timers, they are very easy to use. The fun of using the timers has made out fluency checks an enjoyable part of our day.

Children can set themselves, if necessary. Batteries relatively inexpensive as they need to be replaced quite often. 5 minutes of tablet time is priceless, sometimes!

This was PERFECT for my little ones to understand how to use to time each other with their math facts!
